Beginning the college process can be intimidating and confusing. With nearly 4,000 colleges and universities in the United States, a focused and thoughtful college search is crucial to every student's success.
The Diagnostic Evaluation, our "signature service," is a comprehensive initial assessment of a student's status going into the college admissions process. It consists of a very thorough evaluatory in-person interview that Ethan Ris has developed over many years, and a follow-up meeting in which he presents a detailed written report assessing the student's needs, options, and next steps. The Evaluation is designed for students ranging in age from the second semester of sophomore year through the first semester of senior year.
The key components of the report are a comprehensive assessment of a student's "paper profile," a strategy for crafting the best possible application narrative; an action-based timeline of next steps, and an annotated working list of between 10 and 15 colleges and universities that match with the student's unique needs and interests, and that are in range for students with his or her academic record.
This package is available for a single reasonable price. If you decide to continue on with our services for the rest of the college process, we can enter into either hourly or comprehensive service.
